With the development of economy, the aging of population, the increase of overweight and obesity, the prevalence of diabetes in China is increasing year by year. According to the epidemiological survey, from 2015 to 2017, the prevalence of diabetes in the population aged 18 and above reached 11.2%, and the number of type 2 diabetes patients accounted for more than 90%.

In TCM treatment of diabetes, Shenqi Jiangtang granules is recommended for the prevention and treatment of type 2 diabetes.
